The fascia is the largest system in the body

It is both elastic and intelligent, it can be repaired and rewired to increase mobility and decrease pain

Myofascial Release Therapy is based on sensing, observing and stimulating the fascia of the body. This is done by providing gentle but firm pressure in various styles, stimulating the facia. MFR is different than massage in that my hands will not glide across the body using oils or lotions, but will gently tug, press or pull using specific techniques to address issues or dysfunction of the fascia in order to eliminate pain and restore mobility.

I will also incorporate assisted passive stretching and joint Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation during these bodywork sessions.

I follow my MFR treatments with dry brushing or gentle touch with oils to nourish the skin and seal the effects or MFR.

This is a 60 minute therapy.
